About Harbour Lets

Albert Hotel

The iconic Albert Hotel is a historic Gourock landmark, built in the 1830s on Cove Road facing onto Shore Street on the main A770 road through Gourock.

Previously operated by the Kennedy family, the Albert Hotel was a public house, with a popular beer garden and a loyal Greenock Morton FC Supporters Club.

The property was bought by Kirsteen Murray in 2018 who began to undertake the initial renovation of the property in a bid to bring the much-loved local landmark back into use.

The ground floor was transformed into the superb 1830 Eatery in 2022, which provides a superb range of food and coffees for our guests as continental flavour fuses with traditional Scottish dishes.

Harbour Lets completed the renovation of the first and second floors in August 2023 and opened for visitors in October 2023.

Ideally located on the main road through Gourock, Harbour Lets is a short walk from the Gourock railway station and ferry terminal and is close proximity to all local amenities, with off-street parking also available for visitors.
